Sorti cette semaine chez Orbit UK, ce premier roman signé Brian McClellan est a priori l'une des nouveautés en langue anglaise les plus attendues de l'année et son éditeur semble beaucoup miser dessus, avec une large mise en avant. Pour preuve, outre une page Facebook par exemple, on peut lire les quatre premiers chapitres de Promise of Blood, sans parler de la bande-annonce ci-dessous. La couverture du tome 2 est d'ailleurs déjà connue.
