Les nominations sont tombées pour l'un des trois prix les plus importants dans le monde de la SFFF.
Les candidats à la prestigieuse récompense sont élus par le public de lecteurs du magazine Locus contrairement à ce qui se fait pour les prix Hugo et aux Nebula qui sont decernés par un jury de professionnels. Saladin Ahmed, qui est déjà nominé au Hugo et au Nebula, est présent dans la catégorie Meilleur Premier Roman tandis que N.K Jemisin et Caitlín R. Kiernan se retrouvent à la fois nommées pour les Locus et les Nebula.
Les prix seront remis à Seattle lors du Locus Awards Week-end qui se tiendra du 28 au 30 juin prochain.
